Region bid announcement
On June 28, 2005, I will announce the time and place of the region 7 tournament. All bids must be submitted and in my possession no later than Saturday, June 18 of 2005. The bid must be in two parts. The first part of the bid should be the actual tournament flyer that states all the information about the tournament. Time Place Sections Awards Cost of entry Game times and round times All information required for trouble free registration.
The tournament should be held as close to the same format as the state tournament as possible. The tournament should be limited to 1 day.
The second part of the bid should be a typed explanation of the tournament, with a description of the organizational structure of the tournament. Please include name of organization(s) hosting the tournament as well as location of the organization. Thank you.
The purpose for the early date is to allow enough planning time for both the event organizer and the participants as well. Remember, that this is a tentative submission and can be altered in case of emergency as far as site location is concerned. Given the extra time for planning, I feel we should be able to advertise the flyer and plan the event without having to scramble for time. The fact that the flyer will be out earlier will more than likely make for a better turnout. Thank you Eddie Rios Sr.
