Registration

• Be on board at 8:45 a.m. First round starts at 9:00am sharp. Game 30, Five round Swiss.
• Fee of $10.00 due no later than May 2, 2003.
• Registration closes on Friday, May 2, 2003. NO ONSITE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ALLOWED!
• USCF membership required. Registrations may be mailed to Attn. Mrs. Castillo, 700 E. Del Mar Blvd. Laredo, Texas 78045
• Make payment to United Middle School. Payment must accompany registrations.

No USCF membership required and no Trophies. Certificates will be awarded

Prizes ¨ Elementary and Middle school - Individual trophies 1st to 5th place finishers, ribbons 6th to 10th and 3 team trophies. ¨ High school - Individual trophies 1st to 5th place finishers and 1 team trophy. ¨ Additional trophies will be added upon increased participation.

Miscellaneous Information

• Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment (boards, pieces, pencils, clock, etc.)
• Food and drinks will be available for sale throughout the tournament. SUPPORT UMS BAND!!!!!!
• No spectators will be allowed in the hall during tournament play.
• “Win TD Program” will generate pairings and results. USCF rules and regulations will be followed.
